
Dr. Andrea Duffy serves as Assistant Vice Provost and Associate Professor of History at Colorado State University (CSU). She is also an American Council of Education Fellow, in which capacity she worked with the Office of the President at Tufts University in 2024-2025. She has worked at CSU since 2010, first as an instructor in the College of Liberal Arts, then as Director of International Studies from 2013-21, when she accepted a Fellowship in the Office of the President working on the University’s Strategic Plan. In her role as Assistant Vice Provost, she supports various institutional priorities, including CSU’s commitment to democracy, sustainability, and climate action. Dr. Duffy holds a B.A. in Modern European History from Princeton University and a Ph.D. from Georgetown University with specializations in European, Middle Eastern, Ottoman, and environmental histories.
