Spike Buckley

He was previously a member of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Veterinary Medical Foundation (2010-2019), the Alameda Corridor Business Improvement District (2002-2021), Earth's Call Fund (2017-2021) and One Earth Philanthropy (Co-Founder). He has been a member of the Board of Directors of Pharmajet, Inc. since 2011 and Cryptomill Cybersecurity Solutions since 2009. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Episcopal Academy.


In May 2019 Spike hosted the launch event for Earth's Call Fund on the campus of the Aspen Institute. The three day conference was a gathering of 700 environmentalists from the US and several other countries, culminating with a three hour concert, featuring among others Patti LaBelle, the Alan Parsons Band and a 50-piece orchestra from Los Angeles conducted by Cheche Alara. A subsequent concert focused on the climate crisis was planned for 2020 in the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta in cooperation with Mercedes Benz USA, but Covid-19 scuttled that plan.

Spike is the owner and founder of Grimley Capital, which owns commercial real estate in numerous states as well as a venture capital portfolio, which is focused on climate and social impact.
